Curious how curious humankind was
Seeking truth in life and in death too
Strange how strange humankind was
Craving to fly while crawling in so many ways
Bizarre how bizarre humankind was
Faith in gamification sure was no salvation
Weird so weird was humankind’s passing
They could have taught Math in so many other ways
Deafening moment
when I heard you
sob and sigh
in this empty house
that my heart has become
All but cry and pry
teares and tears
by fear unspared
From then on and on
lost in a dense silence
I fall waving farewell
deep in the defining well
Is the bed dreamland
Is the night so empty
that it has no end
no beginning to see
Is la la land so bad
Are troubled eyes so shut
that even tears dry sad
where all embraces rot
Now that I heal no more
that old and new cuts bleed the same
memories freeze to the core
and no one left to blame
Now that I hear no more
that love is all bright and powerful
my defying cries scream “Encore! Encore!”
in the void of life that I fill tearful
